Description
I am a Fashion Designer and Couturière with excellent knowledge in teaching, draping, pattern making and sewing as well as in strategic design and management.
I studied Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, USA, where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Eveningwear in 2006. Additional classes include: Haute Couture Sewing Techniques and Haute Couture Apparel Design as well as in Business Law, Entrepreneurship and Teaching of Students with Disabilities.
I currently have my own evening/cocktail/bridal design business which is still located in the USA, but also teach at college level. I design and create all prototypes for my business myself and use human centered strategies to develop innovative designs. My longtime industry experience as business owner and consultant builds an excellent base of knowledge, that I am more than happy to share.
