A qualified linguist with a doctorate from Cambridge University and degrees from the universities of Liverpool and London, I am a professional translator with impeccable writing, research and analytical skills honed over fourteen years working in Europe and North Africa.

With a background in Classics and linguistics - as well as an extensive career as a professional writer - I have an exceptional level of mother-tongue English.


My specialist translation areas include the marketing and media industries (especially websites) closely followed by travel and tourism. I also translate in the fields of business and commerce on a daily basis, with clients ranging from Disney and Coca-Cola to ITER, Areva, Cetim, Carte Bleue, ONET, KAWA, Eurocopter and the French nuclear industry.


My experience as a translator includes posts as a freelance in-house translator for one of France's largest translation companies; editor-in-chief and head translator for a writing consultancy based in London and France; and head of bilingual publications for a North African travel company.
