Description
We do learn every day without even knowing that we are doing it. But the French conception of learning leaves little place to the pleasure and self-responsability of the learner.
What pushed me to become a trainer for adults, more than 35 years ago, are the first ten years spent at the French “Edcation Nationale”, which, at that time, more than nowadays, sorted, categorized pupils and students, without taking into consideration their desires and dreams.
As head of a social reintegration center, with my team, we set up a mechanism to give our learners the pleasure of discovering, thinking, creating and experimenting.
It is still today my approach that I practiced in engineering schools, schools of management and commerce.
I started E-Learning in 1996, when IT tools for training management and digital creation were rare and rudimentary, but I saw how much the computer, put in its good place in a well-thought out plan brought a certain distance from the learner’s cognitive difficulties learner, allowing him to work with less apprehension of judgment and punishment.
In a word, and to conclude, I will say that all my professional energy is centered on the learner and its progression.
Yes, I am primarily trainer, pedagogue, passionate about e-learning, well before being a computer scientist and a developer.
